Description

Agave ‘Nana’ (Agave stricta) is a compact, slow-growing succulent known for its tight rosette of narrow, spiky leaves that form a dense, symmetrical shape. Native to Mexico, this small agave typically grows to about 1 to 2 feet (30 to 60 cm) in height and width. It has striking green to grayish-blue leaves with sharp tips and sometimes a reddish hue at the edges. Agave ‘Nana’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for xeriscaping and drought-tolerant gardens. It requires minimal care and is perfect for small spaces, containers, or rock gardens. Like other agaves, it will flower once in its lifetime, sending up a tall flower spike before dying, but it often produces pups to continue its growth.
